A proud native of Virginia, Mary draws inspiration from the region's rich history, natural landscapes, and timeless elegance. After graduating from Washington and Lee University, Mary moved to New York City to pursue a graduate degree in interior design at Parsons the New School for Design. Her first foray in the design industry began with internships with Elaine Stephenson Interiors and Bunny Williams Inc., before working at Lilly Bunn Inc. Her design style can be described by a bold use of color and pattern, with a nod to traditional design principles. Mary currently lives in Austin with her husband, Andy, their son, Blaine, and their Miniature Schnauzer, Bruce.
